About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PLSQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining complex database systems using PL/SQL, along with proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing database solutions that support our business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize database performance. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in PL/SQL development, with a solid understanding of database architecture and performance tuning. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent communication abilities. Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities effectively is preferred. Certifications related to Oracle PL/SQL or Unix scripting will be considered an added advantage.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and packages to support business applications.
Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into efficient database solutions.
Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and query optimization techniques.
Develop and automate routine database maintenance tasks using Unix Shell Scripting.
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and testing to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Identify and troubleshoot database issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
Assist in the deployment of database objects and ensure smooth integration with other systems.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of database processes, scripts, and configurations.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices related to database development and scripting.
