Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Phonics & Public Speaking Professional Expert working with both younger kids and working professionals in domestic locations. The expert will design and deliver interactive phonics sessions for children, focusing on pronunciation, reading fluency, and foundational language skills. For working professionals, the role includes conducting public-speaking and communication workshops, helping participants improve clarity, confidence, and presentation skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lesson content, conducting live online classes, assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and tailoring teaching strategies to different age groups and proficiency levels. The role may also involve collaborating with the academic team to refine course materials and participate in periodic training or review meetings.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in phonics instruction, child language development, and early literacy teaching methods.
Demonstrated skills in public speaking, presentation, and communication coaching for adult learners and working professionals.
Experience in online teaching, including virtual classroom management, use of e-learning platforms, and digital content delivery.
Ability to design engaging lesson plans, adapt teaching style to diverse learners, and provide clear, actionable feedback.
Excellent spoken and written English, with a neutral and understandable accent suited for diverse domestic audiences.
Prior experience as a teacher, trainer, speech coach, or communication facilitator, preferably in phonics or public speaking.
Relevant academic background in Education, English, Communication, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certifications are an advantage.
Reliable internet connection, familiarity with video conferencing tools, and comfort working independently in a remote setup.
Demonstrated patience, cultural sensitivity, and a learner-centered approach when working with both children and adults.
