The Role
We're looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience, who thrives across the entire stack: backend services, APIs, databases, and frontend interfaces. You'll design, build, and maintain applications that solve real business problems, working with a polyglot tech stack that spans Java, Python, and TypeScript.
This role requires someone who writes secure, maintainable code, understands cloud infrastructure, and can own features from concept through production. You should be past the 'learning the basics' phase and ready to take on meaningful work with limited hand-holding, while still having room to grow into senior engineering responsibilities.
What You'll Do
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
Build backend systems that are scalable, reliable, and secure
Develop frontend interfaces that connect to your backend services
Write and optimize SQL queries, design database schemas, and manage data integrity
Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Troubleshoot production issues and implement monitoring/alerting
What We're Looking For
5+ years of hands-on full stack development experience
Proficiency in at least two of: Java, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript
Experience with modern frameworks (Spring Boot, FastAPI, Django, Express, React, Angular, Vue)
Strong PostgreSQL skills: Schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, migrations
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Containerization experience with Docker
CI/CD pipeline knowledge (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
Security-driven development: Secrets management, OAuth 2.0, JWT, RBAC implementation
Experience with secure coding practices: Input validation, SQL injection prevention
Understanding of log aggregation and monitoring (CloudWatch, Application Insights, ELK, Datadog)
Comfortable writing complex SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions)
Understanding of database transactions, constraints, and data integrity.
