Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the overall technology vision, strategy, and execution for Canviza Services Private Limited. The CTO will oversee the planning and implementation of IT systems and platforms, ensuring they align with business goals and support scalable, secure operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding product and engineering teams, prioritizing technology roadmaps, overseeing project delivery, and establishing best practices for software development and infrastructure management. The CTO will collaborate closely with senior leadership to align IT strategy with business strategy, evaluate emerging technologies, and make data-driven decisions on technology investments. This role also involves mentoring technical staff, setting performance standards, and fostering an inclusive, high-performance engineering culture.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, assess risks, and support strategic technology decisions.
Deep expertise in Information Technology, including systems architecture, infrastructure, security, and software development practices.
Demonstrated ability in IT Strategy, with experience designing and implementing long-term technology roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
Proven Project Management skills, including planning, execution, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication for multiple concurrent initiatives.
Experience in Business Strategy, with the ability to connect technology initiatives to market opportunities, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
Relevant leadership experience in senior technology roles, preferably as a CTO, VP Engineering, or similar position in a technology-driven organization.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
Advanced understanding of cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data management, and modern development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps) is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to operate effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating self-management, accountability, and inclusive leadership across distributed teams.
