Role Description The Senior Engineer Design_RMPU_HVAC role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves designing HVAC and RMPU systems aligned with mechanical and electrical standards, including preparation of design layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings. The engineer will work on product design improvements, review technical specifications, and ensure compliance with industry norms and safety requirements. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, using CAD tools for design and documentation, assisting in prototyping and testing, and supporting production with design clarifications. Both diploma Mechanical and Electrical engineers, fresher or experienced, are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for HVAC and RMPU systems.
Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills for understanding thermal, structural, and system design aspects.
Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills for power, controls, and electrical safety integration.
Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating and modifying 2D/3D engineering drawings.
Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required; additional certifications in HVAC or related fields are an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with readiness to work on-site in a manufacturing and engineering environment.
