Role Description The Project Manager for the IGL gas pipeline in Central Delhi at Your extended partner Basco is a full-time, on-site role based in Kunda. The individual in this position oversees end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities related to pipeline construction and installation. Daily responsibilities include managing expediting activities, monitoring material and equipment deliveries, liaising with vendors and contractors, and ensuring inspections are carried out according to safety and quality standards. The Project Manager tracks project progress, prepares status reports, and addresses risks or delays through effective problem-solving and communication with stakeholders. The role also involves coordinating logistics, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and promoting a safe working environment for all team members on site.
Qualifications
Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Experience in expediting and working as an expeditor, with the ability to track and accelerate procurement and delivery processes.
Knowledge of inspection procedures and quality assurance practices, preferably in pipeline, construction, or energy-related projects.
Proficiency in logistics management, including coordination of materials, equipment, and transportation for on-site activities.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements in infrastructure or gas pipeline projects.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on site and lead cross-functional teams.
Prior experience managing field projects and working in on-site environments is highly beneficial.
