The Qualifications We Seek
More than 3 years of production QA automation experience, with proven expertise in building robust automated UI and API test suites for complex B2B web applications
Strong hands-on programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript, with experience using Playwright preferred or Cypress
Experience with modern unit testing frameworks, including Vitest or Jest
Strong SQL and relational database proficiency, with the ability to inspect complex relational schemas, write multi-table joins, and validate record integrity in PostgreSQL
Exceptional written technical English, with the ability to create clear, unambiguous, step-by-step test plans and validation protocols that third-party auditors or team members can execute independently without clarification
Meticulous, evidence-driven approach to capturing failure outputs, network payloads, console errors, and reproduction steps
Experience in regulated environments, including GxP, GAMP 5, Computer System Validation, or FDA 21 CFR Part 11, preferred
Functional familiarity with ERP, MES, or QMS domains, including Bills of Materials, Lot Genealogy, Inventory Valuation, CAPA, Deviations, and Electronic Signatures, preferred
Your Daily Tasks
End-to-End Automated Testing
Design, build, and maintain a browser-level automated test suite from scratch using Playwright and TypeScript
Establish automated regression coverage across approximately 20 mission-critical workflows, including authentication and RBAC, order-to-cash, electronic batch records, quality deviations, contract lifecycle, and approval hierarchies
Post-Deploy Production Verification
Build, maintain, and execute automated smoke and verification tests against production environments after every release
Serve as the required sign-off gate before production builds receive shipped status
GxP / 21 CFR Part 11 Protocol Execution
Author and execute formal Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) test protocols
Capture tamper-evident runtime logs, screenshots, and supporting test artifacts
Log deviations accurately and maintain the requirements traceability matrix
Database & State Validation
Navigate backend schemas and query PostgreSQL directly
Validate data isolation, tenant security, Row-Level Security (RLS), and transactional accuracy through database-level assertions rather than reliance solely on UI validation
Integration & Regression Testing
Expand automated integration and unit test coverage across thin modules
Protect critical workflows against regressions within the continuous deployment pipeline using GitHub Actions
