HPC and Parallel Computing Engineer (Remote, Contract Bench)

We need engineers who make large scientific and AI workloads run fast on clusters and in the cloud.
What you'll do
Build and tune jobs on Slurm or PBS clusters and on cloud HPC such as AWS ParallelCluster or Azure CycleCloud
Parallelize and profile code with MPI, OpenMP and CUDA to find and fix the bottleneck
Set up GPU environments, containers (Apptainer or Singularity) and reproducible software stacks
Size compute and storage, and report runtime and cost in plain terms
Required
3+ years running or developing for HPC clusters
MPI, OpenMP or CUDA in production code
Linux plus Python, C/C++ or Fortran
Preferred
National lab, DoD HPCMP, NOAA, NASA or university research computing
Cloud HPC
A scientific domain such as climate, CFD, genomics or AI model training
How our bench works. This is a bench role: there are no guaranteed hours. When a federal bid fits your background, we name you on it at your agreed rate, and you sign a short commitment before we submit. If we win, you do the work at that rate and those hours. Remote, 1099 hourly; full-time seats may be W-2. U.S. work authorization required.
