Trade secret and non compete fights move faster than anything else in employment law, and this Los Angeles seat leans into them. It’s three years plus, $260,000 to $390,000, fully remote, with advice work and class actions in the mix as well. If you’ve done some trade secret litigation they’ll be very keen to talk, and if you’ve done class work on top they’ll be keener still.

What you’d be doing:
Restraining order applications when an employee walks out with something they shouldn’t have
Forensic reports on who copied what, and when
Class action defence for the same employers
Advice on agreements, policies and the awkward exit before it turns into a case
What you’d need:
3 years or more of employment law and the California Bar
Writing that holds up at 11pm before a hearing
