The work is coverage litigation for insurers, so policy language, coverage positions, and the arguments that follow when nobody agrees. You’d carry it from the first read of the policy all the way to the courtroom, with the depositions, the motions and the hearings in between, and there’s enough insurer work coming through that the files keep arriving.
You could do that three days a week. Or full time, or on a contract, and they’ll shape the job around whoever they hire. If you’ve been thinking about coming back after time out, or about contract work while something else in your life takes priority for a while, they’re open to it.
San Francisco is the natural base, remote is on the table, and the seat doesn’t have to be in California at all.
