Chief Product OfficerJob Overview
Lead the company’s enterprise-wide product vision, strategy, and execution. Oversee product portfolio management, roadmap development, innovation, and commercialization to ensure alignment with corporate objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Product Strategy
Define and execute the company’s overall product strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities, market opportunities, customer expectations, and long-term business objectives.
Product Portfolio Management
Oversee the product portfolio across business units and market segments, evaluating strategic fit, investment priorities, product performance, and opportunities for expansion.
Product Vision and Roadmap Development
Establish product vision, strategic roadmaps, and development priorities, translating business objectives and customer insights into actionable product initiatives.
Product Innovation and Development
Drive product innovation and oversee the product lifecycle from concept and development through launch, optimization, and continuous improvement.
Customer and Market Insights
Incorporate customer feedback, market research, competitive intelligence, and emerging industry trends into product decisions and strategic planning.
Product Commercialization and Growth
Partner with Marketing, Sales, Business Development, and other teams to develop commercialization strategies, strengthen market adoption, and identify new revenue opportunities.
Executive and Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership team to align product investments with business strategy, resolve cross-functional priorities, and support critical business decisions.
Product Organization and Governance
Build and develop a high-performing product organization, establish product management standards and performance metrics, and promote accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
QualificationsEducation Background
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Product Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
Work Experience
15+ years of progressive experience in product management, product strategy, product development, or related leadership functions.
8+ years of experience in senior management or executive leadership roles.
Proven track record of leading enterprise product strategies, complex product portfolios, and large-scale product development initiatives.
Extensive experience in product roadmap planning, market analysis, customer research, commercialization, and product performance management.
Demonstrated ability to connect product strategy with corporate goals, business growth, and measurable commercial outcomes.
Experience in technology, financial services, investment, or other complex and competitive industries is advantageous.
