Senior Vice President of Product Management

Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Vice President of Product Management to lead the company’s product strategy, portfolio management, product development priorities, and long-term product growth initiatives.
This executive will work closely with the CEO, executive leadership team, engineering, design, marketing, sales, operations, and customer experience teams to define product priorities, identify market opportunities, and ensure the organization delivers products and solutions that create measurable customer and business value.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company’s overall product management strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
Define product vision, strategy, roadmap, priorities, and long-term portfolio objectives.
Lead the evaluation, development, launch, and lifecycle management of products and solutions.
Identify market opportunities through customer research, competitive analysis, industry trends, and business insights.
Establish product priorities based on customer needs, market potential, business objectives, and available resources.
Oversee product roadmaps and ensure alignment across product, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations.
Lead cross-functional teams through product discovery, development, launch, optimization, and ongoing improvement.
Evaluate product performance using revenue, adoption, retention, customer satisfaction, profitability, and other key performance indicators.
Develop business cases, financial analyses, forecasts, and investment recommendations for new and existing products.
Partner with engineering and technology leadership to establish product requirements, development priorities, and delivery expectations.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, positioning, pricing, and launch plans.
Monitor customer feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for product enhancements and innovation.
Drive product portfolio optimization, including prioritization, investment decisions, and product lifecycle management.
Support strategic initiatives such as market expansion, partnerships, acquisitions, and business transformation.
Establish product management processes, governance frameworks, performance metrics, and reporting standards.
Present product strategy, portfolio performance, investment priorities, and growth opportunities to executive leadership and, when appropriate, the Board of Directors.
Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing product management teams and senior product leaders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Product Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
MBA or other advanced business or technical degree preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in product management, product strategy, technology, business development, or a related field.
Significant experience leading product organizations and enterprise-level product strategies.
Proven track record of developing, launching, scaling, and optimizing successful products or product portfolios.
Strong understanding of product strategy, market analysis, customer research, competitive positioning, and product lifecycle management.
Demonstrated ability to translate customer and market insights into clear product strategies and roadmaps.
Strong financial and commercial understanding, including product economics, pricing, investment analysis, and profitability.
Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, communication, presentation, and decision-making skills.
Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to balance customer needs, technical considerations, business objectives, and resource constraints.
Strong understanding of product development methodologies and modern product management practices.
Ability to manage multiple strategic priorities in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
Demonstrated ability to build, lead, mentor, and develop high-performing product management organizations.
