Are you an experienced Project Planning Engineer with strong expertise in project scheduling, MPS, critical path analysis and resource planning?
We are looking for an analytical and proactive Project Planning Engineer to manage end-to-end planning, scheduling and timeline monitoring across ongoing and upcoming interior fit-out projects.

Position: Project Planning Engineer
Location: Vasna – Bhayli Road, Vadodara, Gujarat
Experience: 5–10 Years
Salary: ₹90,000/month
Employment: Full-Time
Working Hours: 9:20 AM – 6:50 PM
Reporting To: Project Head / Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain detailed Master Project Schedules (MPS) using MS Excel/ERP
• Sequence project activities from design → procurement → execution → finishing → handover
• Establish realistic project timelines and milestone schedules
• Break down project schedules trade-wise across civil, carpentry, MEP, false ceiling and finishing
• Monitor actual site progress against baseline schedules
• Identify critical-path dependencies and project bottlenecks
• Develop recovery and acceleration plans when delays are anticipated
• Identify and track long-lead procurement items to prevent execution stoppages
• Plan agency and contractor deployment across multiple projects
• Maintain agency-wise scope and schedule trackers
• Coordinate with Project Heads, Project Managers, Design, Procurement and site teams
• Handle execution and procurement-related queries professionally
• Ensure compliance with developer/society guidelines and project reporting requirements
Candidate Requirements
✔️ B.E./B.Tech in Civil / Diploma in Civil or Interior Design
✔️ PG in Project Management will be an advantage
✔️ 5–10 years of experience in project planning/scheduling (minimum 3–8 years practical experience specified in the detailed terms)
✔️ Strong proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, Gantt Charts and Bar Charts
✔️ Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM)
✔️ Good technical understanding of interior fit-out execution sequences
✔️ Experience with long-lead procurement, vendor mobilisation and lead-time tracking
✔️ Strong analytical and risk-identification skills
✔️ Ability to identify timeline bottlenecks and trade interdependencies
✔️ Strong coordination skills across Project Heads, PMs, Design, Procurement and site teams
✔️ Good client communication and reporting discipline
