Role Description This full-time, on-site Lawyer role is based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The Lawyer will draft and review contracts, pleadings, legal notices, and other documents, while conducting detailed legal research to support case strategy and advisory work. Daily responsibilities include appearing before appropriate courts and forums, preparing case files, advising clients on legal rights and obligations, and collaborating with colleagues on complex matters. The role involves managing timelines, maintaining accurate documentation, and staying updated on relevant legislation and case law. The Lawyer is expected to uphold confidentiality, professional ethics, and firm standards in all client interactions.
Qualifications
Relevant law degree (LL.B or equivalent) from an accredited institution; enrollment with a Bar Council and eligibility to practice law.
Strong skills in legal research, statutory interpretation, and analysis of case law to support litigation and advisory work.
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, affidavits, opinions, and notices.
Experience or comfort with court appearances, client representation before tribunals or forums, and case file management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in clear, accessible language.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously.
Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and client service, with a collaborative and respectful working style.
Familiarity with laws and procedures relevant to the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad jurisdiction; fluency in English and local languages is an advantage.
Comfort using legal research databases and office productivity tools; openness to continuous learning and professional development.
