JL Closets, South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for a Finance & Performance Manager to oversee our financial operations, improve business performance, and lead our remote finance team based in Argentina.
This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll be a key part of our leadership structure, helping us scale efficiently, strengthen internal systems, improve team performance, and provide financial insights that support strategic growth. What You’ll Do
Take ownership of daily financial operations, ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
Manage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and overall bookkeeping
Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
Prepare monthly financial reports with actionable insights for leadership
Track budgets, cash flow, and financial performance to support smarter business decisions
Monitor team performance, establish accountability, and ensure timely, accurate completion of financial tasks
Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
Identify and implement improvements in financial workflows, systems, and team processes
Recommend process improvements that strengthen efficiency, accountability, and overall financial performance
What You Bring
15+ years of finance or accounting experience, with a strong track record in leadership
Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
Expertise in reconciliations, payroll, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and financial compliance
Experience managing remote teams, monitoring performance, and improving processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn financial data into actionable insights
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
A sharp eye for detail, strong organizational habits, and a proactive mindset
A leadership approach that balances accountability with coaching and team development
Ability to take ownership, set priorities, and consistently deliver results
