This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team of remote bookkeepers while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with best accounting practices.
Payroll Management: Oversee and process payroll, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for employees.
Bank & Credit Card Reconciliation: Perform and supervise bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
Bookkeeping Supervision: Lead and provide direction to two Argentina-based bookkeepers, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial health.
Budget & Expense Management: Monitor cash flow, manage budgets, and control expenses to support business growth.
Tax & Compliance: Ensure financial activities align with tax regulations, assist with audits, and liaise with external accountants when necessary.
Process Optimization: Implement and refine financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Qualifications:
15+ years of finance or accounting experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks (or similar accounting software).
Experience with payroll processing, bank reconciliation, and credit card reconciliation.
Prior experience managing remote teams is a plus.
Professional English capability
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
