Role Description The Vice President of Global Project Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end project operations across multiple regions and business units. This role leads global project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects meet scope, quality, timeline, and budget expectations. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing operations teams, optimizing processes, managing resource allocation, and driving operational excellence initiatives. The Vice President collaborates closely with senior leadership to align project portfolios with strategic priorities, establish performance metrics, and implement governance frameworks. The role also involves mentoring project leaders, managing risks and escalations, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support successful global outcomes.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Operations Management and Operational Excellence, with a track record of improving processes and performance at scale.
Demonstrated expertise in Project Management, including leading complex, multi-region projects and project portfolios.
Experience in Strategic Planning, with the ability to align project operations with organizational goals and long-term growth initiatives.
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and its integration with project operations in global environments.
Extensive leadership experience managing diverse, distributed teams and influencing without direct authority.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with comfort working with data and performance metrics.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across cultures and time zones.
Relevant bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certifications in operations or project management (such as PMP, PgMP, or Lean Six Sigma) are beneficial.
Experience in global or multinational organizations and familiarity with remote collaboration tools and practices.
