Remote Junior IT Security Analyst (AED 9,000–13,000 per month)

We’re hiring a Remote Junior IT Security Analyst to join our growing IT and cybersecurity team.
As a Junior IT Security Analyst, you’ll help maintain the security of our IT systems, user accounts, devices, and business applications. You’ll work alongside experienced IT and security professionals to investigate unusual activity, support security monitoring, improve access controls, and help protect company information.
This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in cybersecurity while building on a foundation in IT, networking, or technical support. Whether you’re a recent graduate, a career changer, or someone who has developed technical skills through certifications, online courses, or hands-on projects, you’ll have the opportunity to gain practical experience and grow professionally.
Previous professional cybersecurity experience is not required. We’re looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, pays attention to detail, and is motivated to learn how organizations protect their systems and data.
Location: Fully remote — Dubai and UAE-based applicants welcome, subject to employment eligibility.
Compensation: AED 9,000–13,000 per month, depending on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
### What You’ll Do
* Assist with monitoring IT systems and security alerts for suspicious activity
* Help investigate unusual login attempts, access issues, and potential security incidents
* Support user account management and access permission reviews
* Assist with endpoint security, antivirus monitoring, and device protection
* Help identify outdated software, missing security patches, and basic configuration weaknesses
* Support security checks across laptops, servers, networks, and business applications
* Document security incidents, troubleshooting steps, and remediation activities
* Collaborate with IT support and engineering teams to resolve technical security issues
* Assist with implementing security policies and maintaining internal procedures
* Help educate employees on password security, phishing awareness, and safe technology practices
* Develop familiarity with security monitoring tools and incident response processes
### Who You Are
* Interested in building a career in IT security or cybersecurity
* Have a basic understanding of computer systems, networking, and information security
* Familiar with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
* Understand basic concepts such as authentication, permissions, malware, and phishing
* Comfortable troubleshooting technical problems and following documented procedures
* Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
* Able to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with different teams
* Willing to learn new tools, technologies, and security processes
* Responsible when handling confidential information and user access
The following are helpful but not required:
* CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Google Cybersecurity Certificate
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, or endpoint management
* Basic knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection, or SIEM tools
* Introductory scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
* A degree or qualification in IT, computer science, networking, or cybersecurity
* Previous help desk, IT support, or technical troubleshooting experience
* Cybersecurity coursework, personal projects, home labs, or online training
No previous professional cybersecurity experience is required. We welcome recent graduates, career changers, self-taught candidates, and applicants with transferable technical skills.
