Role Description This full-time remote Keyboard Teacher role focuses on delivering engaging, structured online keyboard lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels. The teacher will design and implement lesson plans that cover technique, music theory fundamentals, sight-reading, and repertoire development, using digital tools and platforms provided by WinQuest Online. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting live virtual classes and one-on-one sessions, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting instruction to individual learning styles. The Keyboard Teacher will also collaborate with the broader teaching team on curriculum refinement, participate in periodic training sessions, and maintain clear communication with students and caregivers to support long-term learning goals.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with proven experience in music or keyboard instruction.
Ability in Lesson Planning and Training to develop structured, progressive keyboard curricula and practice routines.
Excellent Communication skills for clear online instruction, feedback, and coordination with students and families.
Proficiency in keyboard performance, music theory, and reading standard notation; experience with diverse musical styles is an asset.
Comfort with online teaching platforms and basic digital tools (video conferencing, shared documents, learning management systems).
Demonstrated patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity when working with learners of different ages and backgrounds.
Relevant education in Music, Music Education, or a related field, or equivalent professional teaching and performance experience.
Ability to work independently, manage a consistent schedule, and maintain organized records of student progress in a remote environment.
