Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Lead Developer / Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to lead integration architecture, technical design, and development across Oracle Fusion applications and Oracle PaaS solutions.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience designing and developing integrations, building Oracle Fusion extensions, developing VBCS applications, and leading technical delivery. The candidate must be capable of guiding a second developer and working directly with client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solutions, including application-driven, scheduled, and event-based integrations.
Build integrations using Oracle ERP Cloud adapters, REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI bulk data loads, and business events.
Implement robust error handling, monitoring, and reprocessing mechanisms.
Own integration architecture, technical design, development standards, and solution delivery.
Develop Oracle Fusion extensions using Groovy scripts, approval workflows, business rules, Descriptive Flexfields (DFFs), and Extensible Flexfields (EFFs).
Develop and maintain BI Publisher and OTBI reports.
Design and develop Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) screens and applications on Oracle PaaS, including integrations with Fusion REST APIs.
Lead technical discussions, guide and mentor a second developer, and collaborate directly with client stakeholders.
Ensure integrations and extensions meet functional requirements, performance standards, scalability, and maintainability.
Required Skills & Experience
1. Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Strong hands-on experience designing and developing scalable OIC integrations.
Experience with application-driven, scheduled, and event-based integrations.
Knowledge of ERP Cloud adapters, REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, business events, error handling, and reprocessing.
2. Integration Architecture & Technical Design
Experience owning integration architecture and technical solution design.
Ability to design scalable, reliable, and maintainable integration solutions.
3. Oracle Fusion Extensions
Hands-on experience with Groovy scripts, approval workflows, business rules, DFFs/EFFs, and Visual Builder Studio page extensions.
4. VBCS Development
Experience developing VBCS screens and applications on Oracle PaaS.
Hands-on experience integrating VBCS applications with Oracle Fusion REST APIs.
5. BI Publisher & OTBI
Experience in report development, enhancement, troubleshooting, and support.
6. Technical Leadership
Proven ability to lead technical design and development activities.
Experience guiding and mentoring developers.
Ability to work directly with client stakeholders and communicate technical solutions effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP/SCM applications and business processes.
Experience with Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
Experience delivering end-to-end Oracle Fusion integration and extension solutions.
Ideal Candidate
A hands-on technical lead who combines strong OIC development expertise with Oracle Fusion extensions, BI Publisher/OTBI reporting, and VBCS development, while taking ownership of integration architecture and technical delivery.
