About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ENGINEER will enhance the quality and scalability of custom solutions within the organization's advanced NetSuite environment. This role is pivotal in delivering durable, systemic improvements that enable new core business capabilities, working closely with finance and supply chain teams to support the organization's growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Define, document, and execute NetSuite development tasks within an agile framework.
Deliver high-quality SuiteScript code adhering to best practices with a focus on root-cause solutions.
Design and implement test coverage for customizations and integrations, establishing team-wide quality standards.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools responsibly to accelerate coding, integration, and testing.
Establish standards for AI-assisted code changes, ensuring compliance with control requirements.
Contribute reusable documentation and coding standards to improve efficiency.
Collaborate with the NetSuite Administrator to govern platform configuration and reduce technical debt.
Develop and support scalable integrations between NetSuite and other business systems.
Translate business requirements from multiple departments into robust solutions.
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of NetSuite development and/or administration experience.
Experience with Agile methodologies and task management tools.
Proficiency in various NetSuite script types.
Experience writing automated tests.
Practical use of AI coding assistants with sound judgment.
Understanding of core business processes and basic accounting principles.
Extensive experience with system integrations and authentication methods.
Ability to work within NetSuite's configuration and administration layers.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Region 1 $172,000 - $203,000
Region 2 $158,000 - $187,000
Region 3 $147,000 - $174,000
