Role Description
The Insurance Advisor role offers an opportunity to build an additional source of income alongside your existing work, business, profession, or studies. As an Insurance Advisor with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, you will understand customers’ financial protection needs and recommend suitable life insurance solutions based on their goals.
The role offers flexible working hours with no mandatory daily office attendance. Advisors can work from anywhere and can also visit the ICICI Prudential branch for training, guidance, operational support, and customer servicing whenever required.
The opportunity provides commission-based earnings, renewal commission opportunities on eligible policies, training, and continuous business support. Candidates will need to complete the required IRDAI licensing process to become a licensed Insurance Advisor.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand customers’ financial goals, protection needs, and insurance requirements.
* Recommend suitable life insurance solutions based on customer needs.
* Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
* Generate business through personal networking, referrals, and customer interactions.
* Assist customers with policy issuance, documentation, renewals, and after-sales service.
* Participate in product and business development training.
* Stay updated with insurance products and applicable regulatory guidelines.
* Provide professional and ethical customer service.
Qualifications
* 10th Pass / 12th Pass or above
* No prior insurance experience required.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Customer-focused approach.
* Basic smartphone and digital application knowledge.
* Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Willingness to complete the required IRDAI licensing examination/process.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
