Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Canada, focused on Canada opportunities through Esse India’s consulting services. The Mechanical Engineer will design and improve mechanical systems and components, prepare detailed engineering drawings and 3D models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project requirements aligned with Canadian standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting technical research, performing calculations, reviewing specifications, participating in R&D activities, and ensuring designs meet safety and regulatory criteria. The role also involves coordinating with project managers, documenting engineering work for visa and employment applications, and supporting clients by explaining technical profiles and project experience relevant to immigration pathways.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, including core principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials.
Proficiency in Machine Design and related analytical methods for components and systems.
Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
Ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables using Project Management practices.
Experience or interest in Research and Development (R&D), including testing, prototyping, and performance analysis.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards; exposure to international or Canadian standards is an advantage.
Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
Willingness to document projects and experience in a format suitable for Canadian immigration and employment applications.
