Role Description The Senior System Engineer For Canada Opportunities will work full time on-site in Canada, supporting Esse India’s technology infrastructure that enables secure and efficient immigration and visa consulting services. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining systems, servers, and networks to ensure high availability and performance for internal teams and client-facing platforms. The Senior System Engineer will handle advanced troubleshooting, monitor system health, resolve incidents, and provide technical support to staff using various applications and tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include system administration tasks such as patch management, backup and recovery, user access management, and documentation of system configurations and procedures. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan system upgrades, optimize architecture, and implement best practices for security, reliability, and scalability.
Qualifications
Strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills to architect, implement, and optimize complex infrastructure solutions.
Proficiency in System Administration, including server management, user access control, patching, backups, and monitoring.
Hands-on experience with Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose, resolve, and prevent system and application issues.
Experience with networked environments, virtualization, cloud or hybrid infrastructures, and security best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
Ability to document systems, processes, and standards clearly, and to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in consulting, professional services, or supporting compliance-driven industries (e.g., immigration, finance, healthcare) is an advantage.
