Role Description The Senior Network Engineer for Canada Opportunities will work full time on-site in Canada, focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures that meet international standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring routers, switches, and firewalls; monitoring network performance; and diagnosing and resolving connectivity, latency, and security issues. The role involves developing network architectures and documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams on network-related requirements, and ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices. The Senior Network Engineer will also mentor junior team members, participate in capacity planning, and support network readiness for clients pursuing Canada-based opportunities.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design for complex, scalable infrastructures.
Hands-on expertise in Network Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network devices.
Proficiency in Troubleshooting network issues across multiple layers and technologies.
Solid knowledge of Network Security principles, tools, and practices to safeguard data and systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience with enterprise networking technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, SD-WAN) and common routing and switching protocols.
Ability to document architectures and procedures clearly, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Prior experience in global or Canada-focused network projects, or familiarity with international standards and compliance, is an advantage.
