About The Role
We are seeking experienced AWS Data Engineers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, cloud-native data engineering solutions on AWS. Your primary focus will be on building high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data platforms that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. You will collaborate closely with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable data solutions tailored for global insurance clients. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the development of innovative data architectures that enable data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have 4 to 12 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a strong background in cloud-based data solutions. Proficiency in AWS services such as AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, and AWS Lambda is essential. You should possess solid programming skills in Python and PySpark, with experience working on Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics. A deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data pipeline development, and cloud-native data architectures is required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication abilities, are vital for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable AWS data pipelines to support enterprise data needs.
Build robust ETL/ELT solutions utilizing AWS Glue, S3, Redshift, and Lambda to facilitate efficient data processing.
Develop data processing and transformation solutions using PySpark and Python to ensure data quality and consistency.
Collaborate with teams to integrate Snowflake for data warehousing and advanced analytics capabilities.
Implement best practices for data security, quality, and performance optimization across all data pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments to ensure high availability and reliability.
Work closely with architects and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Contribute to the development of modern cloud-native data platforms and enterprise analytics solutions that align with organizational goals.
