About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled React Lead Developer to join our dynamic team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the user-facing components of web applications tailored for the financial services industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and QA specialists to deliver high-quality, accessible, and engaging digital experiences. As a React Lead Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the frontend architecture, ensuring performance optimization, and maintaining code quality standards across projects. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in web application development, with a strong focus on React and modern frontend tools. You should have a solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), with basic familiarity with TypeScript, enabling you to read and write typed components effectively. Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design techniques such as Flexbox and Grid, is essential. You should have experience debugging and improving existing codebases, resolving UI defects, and implementing small functional enhancements. A good grasp of core frontend concepts like component structure, props, state, and basic state management patterns (e.g., Context API, Redux) is required. Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive UI practices, along with exposure to testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library, will be advantageous. Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key attributes for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain React user interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, adhering to established coding standards and team conventions.
Implement specific parts of key user journeys, ensuring correctness, performance, accessibility, and code readability.
Contribute to existing component libraries by adding enhancements, fixing bugs, and aligning with design system guidelines.
Debug and resolve straightforward issues within the UI, such as defects, layout problems, and minor functional bugs, with support from senior engineers.
Ensure responsive behavior across various screen sizes and verify compatibility across target browsers and devices.
Apply accessibility fundamentals, including semantic HTML, labels, focus states, and keyboard navigation, following industry standards and ARIA guidelines when appropriate.
Collaborate effectively with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend developers, and QA teams to clarify requirements, identify risks early, and deliver features end-to-end.
Write and maintain unit and component tests, participate in CI/CD pipelines, and address build failures or code quality issues proactively.
Participate in code reviews, respond to feedback constructively, and contribute to the development of team standards and best practices.
Document changes clearly, update README files, and suggest continuous improvements to team workflows and processes.
