Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Intern will support the design, development, and testing of AI and data-driven solutions that enhance learning experiences and internal operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with data collection and preprocessing, implementing and evaluating machine learning models, and running experiments under the guidance of senior mentors. The intern will contribute to documentation, code reviews, and basic deployment tasks, while collaborating with educators and technologists to align technical work with learner needs. This is an internship role based in New Delhi with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a mix of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Programming, with experience in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
Knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning concepts, including modeling, evaluation, and basic statistical understanding.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, and designing experiments or prototypes.
Current enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant degree (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field).
Familiarity with AI/ML libraries and tools (such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch) is highly beneficial.
Ability to learn quickly, work in a collaborative environment, and communicate technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Interest in education, nation-building, and using technology to empower youth is a strong advantage.
