Role Description The Web Content Writer is a full-time remote role responsible for planning, creating, and maintaining high-quality written content for EgoTECHworld’s website and digital platforms. Day-to-day tasks include researching technology topics, writing clear and engaging articles, guides, and landing pages, and aligning content with the company’s voice and brand guidelines. The role involves collaborating with editors, designers, and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, relevance, and readability of all published materials. The Web Content Writer will also help organize and update existing content, optimize pages for user experience and discoverability, and contribute ideas for new topics and content formats. Regular responsibilities include meeting deadlines, following editorial workflows, and using content management tools to publish and track performance.
Qualifications
Strong Web Content Writing and general Writing skills, with the ability to tailor tone and style to different audiences and formats.
Experience with Content Strategy and Content Management, including planning content calendars and organizing materials within a CMS.
Proficient Research skills to gather accurate, up-to-date information on technology topics and translate complex concepts into accessible content.
Excellent command of English grammar, structure, and clarity, with attention to detail and consistency.
Familiarity with basic SEO principles and web usability best practices for online content.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Interest in technology and willingness to stay informed about industry trends and tools.
