Role Description The React UI Creator is a full-time remote role responsible for designing and building intuitive, responsive user interfaces using React and related front-end technologies. Day-to-day tasks include creating UI mockups and prototypes, translating visual design concepts into functional components, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to refine user experience flows. The role also involves ensuring consistency with design systems, optimizing UI performance, and conducting usability reviews to improve accessibility and overall user satisfaction. The React UI Creator will participate in regular stand-ups, provide input on product enhancements, and maintain clear documentation of UI components and interaction patterns.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Mockups and Prototyping to translate ideas into clear, testable UI concepts.
Candidates should possess skills in Visual Design and User Experience Design (UED) to create aesthetically pleasing and user-centered interfaces.
Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, with hands-on experience in React, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
Experience with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization for UI components.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
Experience with version control (Git), basic API integration, and Agile/Scrum methodologies is beneficial.
