Accubid Expertise for High-Stakes U.S. Commercial Electrical Bids
Hands-on Accubid experience is essential for this opportunity. As an Accubid Electrical Estimator, you'll use Accubid Anywhere and LiveCount Cloud to develop accurate estimates supporting commercial and industrial electrical projects across the United States. Analyze drawings, quantify labor and materials, assess project risk, and develop competitive proposals that help convert opportunities into successful projects. Qualifications
At least 1-3 years of electrical estimating, construction estimating, or related experience
Hands-on Accubid experience is required, with proven proficiency using the software for electrical estimating and bid preparation
Experience preparing cost estimates and bids for commercial or industrial electrical projects is preferred
Strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze electrical plans, construction blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
Knowledge of electrical systems, materials, drafting, and construction processes
Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
Ability to manage multiple estimates, bids, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, customer service, and time-management skills
Understanding of project coordination and project management processes
Electrical field experience is preferred
Associate's degree or equivalent qualification required; Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred
Responsibilities
Review electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and other bid documents
Utilize Accubid Anywhere and LiveCount Cloud to capture material, labor, and equipment costs efficiently
Consult with clients to confirm project scope when required
Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors as needed
Conduct bid reviews with the Estimating Lead and Operations team
Analyze and identify project risks during bid reviews to support operational planning
Prepare detailed proposals that are competitive in price and scope
Assist with post-bid scope clarifications and negotiations
Develop and maintain historical pricing and estimating databases
