About the Opportunity:
The CAREGIVER OPERATIONS & SUPPORT SPECIALIST plays a key role in processing payroll-related data and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate and compliant payroll operations. This position contributes to organizational efficiency and supports the mission by maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Verify and process daily electronic visit verification shifts, bi-weekly timecards, and PTO requests.
Process miscellaneous payroll paperwork as required.
Collaborate with employees and departments to research and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Provide guidance on timekeeping procedures and compliance with relevant statutes.
Deliver excellent customer service and manage high-stress situations with discretion.
Support initiatives aligned with the organization's strategies under supervision.
Promote positive community relations and awareness.
Work with management to achieve the organization's mission, vision, and strategic goals.
Stay informed on industry trends at state and national levels.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders through various formats.
Meet attendance, punctuality, and performance metrics.
Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Contribute to team goals and foster a cooperative atmosphere.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum one year of payroll experience; home care or human services experience is advantageous.
General understanding of financial principles and processes.
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn organization-specific systems.
Strong attention to detail in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Effective critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to organize, prioritize work, and maintain confidentiality.
Positive attitude toward team collaboration and adaptability.
Strong communication skills with professionalism and empathy.
Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
