Role Description The Software Tester role is a full-time, remote position focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, executing, and documenting test cases, identifying defects, and validating fixes across various applications and platforms. The role involves collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, refine acceptance criteria, and improve the overall user experience. The Software Tester will analyze test results, contribute to test plans, participate in regression and exploratory testing, and support continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Software Testing and Test Execution skills, including hands-on experience with manual and/or automated testing.
Candidates should possess solid Quality Assurance and Test Cases skills, including creating, maintaining, and executing test cases aligned with requirements.
Candidates should possess excellent Analytical Skills, with the ability to investigate issues, interpret test data, and provide clear, actionable feedback.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Candidates should possess familiarity with defect tracking tools, test management systems, and basic understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
Experience with automation frameworks, scripting, performance or security testing, and continuous integration tools is a plus.
