Role Description The Fashion Designer role at Naukripay Group is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Delhi Area. The Fashion Designer will create and refine clothing and accessory designs, develop mood boards, and select appropriate fabrics, colors, and trims aligned with brand and market requirements. Daily responsibilities include sketching concepts, preparing technical specifications, collaborating with pattern makers and production teams, and overseeing fittings to ensure proper fit and quality. The role involves staying updated on fashion trends, consumer preferences, and seasonal collections, as well as coordinating with merchandising and marketing teams to present cohesive product lines. The Fashion Designer will also work closely with suppliers and vendors to source materials and support timely production.
Qualifications
Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, including concept development, sketching, and collection planning.
Knowledge of Textiles and fabric selection, with an understanding of material properties and suitability for different garments.
Experience with Embroidery and decorative techniques to enhance garment aesthetics.
Proficiency in Fitting, garment construction, and evaluating prototypes for comfort, style, and quality.
Ability to use design tools (such as Adobe Illustrator or similar software) for technical drawings and presentation boards.
Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and a strong sense of current fashion trends and market demands.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, merchandising, and vendor teams.
Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field; prior experience in fashion or apparel design is an advantage.
