Role Description The C++ Developer role at EgoTECHworld is a full-time remote position focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance software solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient C++ code, contributing to back-end components, debugging and resolving software issues, and optimizing applications for speed and scalability. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, participate in code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices in software development and object-oriented design. The role also involves documenting technical specifications, improving existing codebases, and staying current with modern C++ standards and tools.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with a focus on modern C++.
Experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, services, and integration with databases.
Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code in collaborative environments.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and standard development workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Experience with debugging tools, unit testing frameworks, and performance profiling is beneficial.
