Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer role based in Ahmedabad. The CNC Programmer will develop, optimize, and modify CNC programs for machining and milling operations, ensuring parts are produced to exact technical drawings and customer specifications. Daily tasks include interpreting engineering drawings, setting up tooling and workholding, selecting cutting parameters, and coordinating with machine operators to troubleshoot issues and improve cycle times. The role involves verifying first-off components, adjusting programs for efficiency and quality, maintaining documentation of programs and setups, and collaborating with production and quality teams to meet delivery and performance targets.
Qualifications
Strong skills in CNC Programming and Programming for machining centers and related equipment.
Proficiency in Machining and Milling operations, including tooling selection and process optimization.
Ability to read and interpret Technical Drawings and engineering specifications accurately.
Experience with CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, or similar) and CAM software is highly beneficial.
Understanding of precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and quality inspection practices.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work safely in a production environment.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with operators, supervisors, and quality personnel.
