Role Description The Healthcare Data Analyst role at I Verve Inc is a remote, contract position focused on supporting healthtech and healthcare clients with data-driven insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and validating healthcare data from multiple sources, and performing statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. The analyst will design and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support clinical, operational, and regulatory decision-making, while collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions. This role also involves documenting methodologies, ensuring data quality and security, and contributing to continuous improvement of analytics processes and tools within regulated environments.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and ability to interpret complex healthcare and operational data.
Proficiency in Data Management and Data Analytics for structured and unstructured healthcare datasets.
Experience in Data Analysis and Statistics for building reports, models, and evidence-based recommendations.
Hands-on experience with SQL and at least one analytics or BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
Familiarity with healthcare data standards or environments (e.g., HL7, FHIR, claims data, EHR systems) is preferred.
Understanding of data privacy and security practices in regulated industries (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2) is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
