Our national agency client is looking for a REMOTE Project Manager to coordinate projects for one of their grocery / retail clients. This role starts the week of October 26 and will continue (40 hours a week) for about 3-4 months. This is a remote role, but the Project Manager must be able to work in PST. This candidate must have experience with managing retail production projects.
The Project Manager will oversee the weekly production and delivery of retail signage and pricing materials. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end workflows for weekly sign and tag kits, coordinating with internal production teams and clients, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining strict production deadlines. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong project management and Excel skills, and is committed to delivering error-free work.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage the weekly production and distribution of retail sign and tag kits containing approximately 100 to 200 templated promotional and informational signs.
- Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and production schedules to ensure all weekly deadlines are met.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and production teams throughout the lifecycle of each project.
- Collect, organize, and validate client-provided data to ensure it meets production and automation requirements.
- Format and prepare data files for automated workflows and production processes.
- Ensure product images, pricing, item descriptions, and related content are accurate and properly displayed across all assets.
- Leverage existing automation and AI-driven workflows while maintaining a strong focus on quality assurance and data validation.
- Conduct thorough reviews of project outputs to identify and resolve discrepancies before release.
- Manage proofing cycles between clients and production teams.
- Ensure all client feedback and annotations are accurately captured, communicated, and implemented.
- Communicate project updates, timelines, and issue resolutions to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Follow established release procedures to ensure final approved files are delivered correctly and on schedule.
- Manage late-sign submissions and provide finalized PDF files for store-level printing when required.
- Organize, upload, and maintain final project files within designated client and company file management systems.
- Create, maintain, and update multiple Excel-based tracking and reporting documents on a weekly basis.
- Monitor project status, document revisions, approvals, and production milestones.
- Maintain organized records to support efficient project execution and audit readiness.
Project Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of project coordination or project management experience in a production, marketing, retail, or print environment.
- Experience in the grocery, retail, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is highly preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manage and maintain multiple complex spreadsheets accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Experience working with structured data, file management processes, and workflow automation tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Familiarity with print production workflows and promotional signage programs.
- Experience working with automated production systems and AI-enabled workflows.
