Billable Hours: 1,850 annually
About our client:
Our clients are seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Defense Attorney to join a well-established California law firm in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of California construction litigation experience
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of construction litigation defense matters from inception through resolution.
Represent contractors, developers, property owners, subcontractors, design professionals, and other construction-industry clients.
Handle all phases of litigation.
Maintain accurate case records and meet deadlines and annual billable-hour expectations.
Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant litigation experience, preferably focused on construction litigation.
Active California Bar admission in good standing.
Strong experience with discovery, motion practice, and legal writing.
Experience with mediation, arbitration, and/or trial preparation.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote legal team.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $160k-$240k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
