📢 We’re Hiring: Senior HR Associate | Preface

Preface is looking for a Senior HR Associate to lead our HR team and manage HR operations across our India and international teams. We’re seeking a proactive HR professional who can take ownership of day-to-day HR functions, support our people, and work closely with leadership as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and guide the HR team, set priorities, and ensure timely execution of HR activities.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
• Oversee the employee lifecycle—from onboarding and probation reviews to career development and exit processes.
• Manage HR operations for teams in India and outside India, coordinating with local partners and advisors where required.
• Develop and implement HR policies and processes that support a consistent employee experience across locations.
• Handle employee relations, address grievances, and help build a positive, inclusive workplace.
• Coordinate performance reviews, goal-setting, feedback, and employee development initiatives.
• Oversee attendance, leave, employee records, and payroll inputs in coordination with Finance and relevant service providers.
• Coordinate applicable employment compliance requirements, documentation, and statutory processes with qualified local advisors.
• Drive employee engagement and support effective collaboration across hybrid and geographically distributed teams.
• Maintain accurate HR reports and provide leadership with insights on hiring, retention, and team needs.
• Handle employee information with discretion and confidentiality.
What We’re Looking For
• Demonstrated experience across core HR functions, with the ability to independently manage HR operations.
• Experience leading a team or supervising HR activities and taking accountability for delivery.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR policies.
• Familiarity with Indian employment practices; experience supporting international teams is an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• A structured, hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfort using HR systems, recruitment platforms, and reporting tools.
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or postgraduate qualification in HR is preferred.
• Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Trivandrum and coordinate across time zones when required.
