Role Description This is a full-time, on-site System Administration cloud role based in Mumbai. The professional in this position will manage and maintain server environments and cloud-based systems, including installation, configuration, and monitoring of Linux and other relevant platforms. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving system and network issues, performing regular maintenance, applying security updates, and ensuring high availability and performance of critical infrastructure. The role involves collaborating with technical support teams, documenting procedures, and implementing best practices for backup, recovery, and system optimization. The individual will also work closely with stakeholders to support business applications, improve reliability, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong System Administration and Server Administration skills to manage, configure, and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
Proficiency in Linux System Administration, including installation, patching, performance tuning, and security hardening.
Solid Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services for deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs) and system security best practices.
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Linux, cloud, or system administration) are an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
