Role Description The UI Designer is a full-time remote role responsible for creating intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces for web and digital products. Day-to-day tasks include designing layouts, crafting mockups, defining visual systems, and collaborating with UX designers and developers to ensure cohesive user experiences. The UI Designer will translate requirements and user research into interface designs, maintain design libraries and style guides, and support front-end implementation through clear specifications and assets. This role also involves iterating on designs based on feedback, usability findings, and performance metrics, while ensuring consistency with brand and accessibility standards.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in User Interface Design and Visual Design, with the ability to create clean, consistent, and accessible interfaces.
Experience producing detailed Mockups and design prototypes using industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
Understanding of User Experience (UX) principles, including user flows, interaction patterns, and usability best practices.
Basic knowledge of Front-End Development concepts (HTML, CSS, responsive design) to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
Portfolio demonstrating UI design work for web or mobile products, including examples of design systems and component libraries.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and comfort working with feedback in an iterative design process.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
