Role Description The Power BI role at EgoTECHworld is a full-time remote position focused on designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, connecting to various data sources, modeling data, and implementing effective visualizations in Power BI. The role involves working with data warehousing and ETL processes to ensure clean, reliable data for analytics and reporting. The team member will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable insights, optimize existing reports, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The position also includes documenting solutions, ensuring data security and compliance, and continuously improving data analytics practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and experience in Data Analytics for interpreting complex datasets and generating meaningful insights.
Candidates should possess skills in Data Warehousing and Extract Transform Load (ETL) to manage data integration, storage, and preparation for reporting.
Candidates should possess Data Modeling expertise to design efficient, scalable models that support robust Power BI dashboards and reports.
Candidates should have proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (including DAX, Power Query) and familiarity with SQL or similar query languages.
Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
Candidates should ideally hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.
Experience with cloud platforms (such as Azure), version control, and basic knowledge of data governance and security best practices is beneficial.
