Chartered Accountant

Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified CA with manufacturing experience and strong IND AS knowledge to lead the accounts function. The role covers financial reporting, statutory compliance, audits, taxation, banking, internal controls and management reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and publish quarterly and annual financial statements as per IND AS
Deliver accurate monthly profit reporting and financial MIS
Review accounting transactions and strengthen internal controls
Manage end-to-end fixed asset compliance: CAPEX approvals, capitalisation, asset register, physical verification, depreciation and disposals
Audit & Regulatory
Lead statutory, internal, stock, cost and other regulatory audits, and close observations on time
Handle notices, assessments and audits from Income Tax, GST, Customs and other departments
Taxation
File Income Tax returns and Tax Audit reports, and prepare advance tax workings
Reconcile Form 26AS, AIS and TDS records with books
File GST returns and annual returns, and complete reconciliations
Monitor TDS/TCS compliance, including Form 145/146 and TDS on foreign payments
Banking & Finance
Liaise with banks and FIs for working capital limits, term loans, renewals and documentation
Prepare and submit CMA data, and manage credit rating activities
Handle bill discounting, fund tracking and reconciliation
Manage documentation for material delivery to MCX warehouses
MIS & Management Reporting
Present MIS, profitability analysis, budget variance reports and dashboards
Monitor cash flow, working capital and fund utilisation, and provide insights for decision-making
Costing & Manufacturing Accounting
Ensure accurate accounting of inventory, production costs and manufacturing expenses
Monitor inventory valuation and analyse product costing and margins
Team Leadership
Lead, train and manage the Group Accounts & Finance team
Coordinate with cross-functional departments
Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant
Strong practical knowledge of IND AS
Experience handling statutory, internal, stock and tax audits
Sound knowledge of manufacturing accounting, costing, inventory and working capital management
Working knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS and the Companies Act
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
