Role Description The SQL Developer will design, implement, and optimize databases that support learning platforms, analytics dashboards, and internal applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing efficient SQL queries, building and maintaining ETL processes, modeling data structures for reporting, and ensuring data integrity and performance across systems. The role will collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable database solutions and to support data-driven decision-making. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Database Development and Database Design to build and maintain scalable, reliable data systems.
Candidates should possess practical experience in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes to integrate, clean, and move data across multiple sources.
Candidates should possess solid Data Modeling and Analytical Skills to structure data for reporting, insights, and performance optimization.
Candidates should possess proficiency in SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and familiarity with performance tuning and query optimization.
Candidates should possess the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Beneficial qualifications include experience with BI tools (such as Power BI or Tableau), scripting languages (such as Python), and version control (such as Git).
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
