Role Description The Fashion Designer role at Naukripay Group is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Fashion Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing new fashion collections, including garments and accessories, that align with brand guidelines and market trends. Daily activities include sketching designs, selecting fabrics and materials, coordinating with textile and production teams, overseeing fittings, and ensuring final pieces meet quality and design standards. The role involves collaborating with merchandising and marketing stakeholders to refine collections, preparing mood boards and technical specifications, and staying current with fashion trends, consumer preferences, and seasonal themes. The Fashion Designer is expected to maintain clear documentation of design processes and contribute ideas that strengthen the brand’s creative direction.
Qualifications
Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, including concept development, sketching, and collection planning.
Knowledge of Textiles, fabric properties, and material selection for various garment types.
Experience with Embroidery techniques and decorative detailing for both traditional and contemporary designs.
Proficiency in Fitting, garment construction, and ensuring accurate drape, comfort, and sizing.
Ability to use design software or digital tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD for fashion) is beneficial.
Relevant academic background in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work within timelines and production constraints.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and vendors.
