About the Opportunity:
The STAFF ENGINEER, IDENTITY & ACCESS MANAGEMENT (IAM) will lead the assessment and revamping of the organization's IAM strategy across various products, platforms, cloud and on-premise infrastructure, and corporate applications. This role is critical in advancing the broader zero-trust security strategy and ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient identity governance. The position contributes by architecting and implementing IAM solutions that support fine-tuned access controls, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in security operations.
Responsibilities:
Assess and redesign IAM strategy across products, infrastructure, and applications
Drive IAM implementation aligned with zero-trust security
Architect cloud-based identity governance and access management solutions
Implement RBAC/ABAC workflows for identity lifecycle management
Provide technical and strategic IAM guidance to IT, security, and development teams
Collaborate with Engineering and IT to embed secure access controls in products
Establish KPIs, KCIs, and KRIs for IAM control effectiveness
Ensure IAM solutions meet regulatory compliance standards such as SOX and GxP
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in IAM and information security domains
Proven leadership in large-scale IAM projects in cloud-first or hybrid environments
Expertise in programming languages relevant to IAM (e.g., Java, C++, Python)
Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Identity Administration & Governance solutions
Experience with Adaptive Authentication, OAuth, OpenID, SAML
Proficiency with identity stacks like Enterprise Active Directory and cloud IAM products (Okta, AWS, Azure AD, Duo)
Experience with privileged access management solutions (e.g., Delinea, CyberArk)
Knowledge of operating systems and database management
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to act as a Business Systems Analyst with technology-agnostic requirement articulation
Continuous improvement mindset regarding IAM trends and technologies
Experience with risk management and compliance alignment
Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, GWAPT) preferred
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Estimated annual base salary range: $180,600–$212,900
Eligible for annual bonus, equity compensation, and comprehensive benefits package
