About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR DEVOPS ADMINISTRATOR role focuses on designing, managing, securing, and automating Linux infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms to ensure high availability, performance, compliance, and security. This position contributes to maintaining secure, scalable environments vital for the organization's operations and national security clients, supporting distributed systems and enterprise applications.
Responsibilities:
Design and maintain secure, automated Linux infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and Azure
Develop high-availability and disaster recovery architectures
Standardize cloud-native environments supporting distributed systems
Automate provisioning, configuration, and CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, Terraform, Git, and Python
Implement proactive monitoring and reliability engineering
Harden environments according to CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIGs, and compliance standards
Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic analysis
Collaborate with technical leaders to influence architecture and infrastructure evolution
Requirements:
10–12 years in IT with at least 8 years managing Linux systems and enterprise applications
Minimum 5 years of scripting or coding experience
At least 3 years supporting enterprise compute environments
Subject matter expertise in Linux administration, especially Red Hat Linux
Experience with cloud-based virtual machines and infrastructure
Proficiency in DevOps automation, infrastructure as code, and security best practices
Knowledge of IAM, networking, load balancing, security engineering, and disaster recovery
Familiarity with compliance frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, CMMC, and FedRAMP
Ability to communicate effectively and influence technical stakeholders
U.S. Citizenship required; no visa sponsorship provided
Relevant certifications and degree or equivalent experience
