About the Opportunity:
The REMOTE RESERVATIONS AGENT is responsible for managing lodging bookings for both individual and group guests, supporting the smooth operation of guest services. This role ensures accurate reservation handling, guest communication, and coordination with other departments, directly contributing to the organization’s mission of delivering quality hospitality experiences.
Responsibilities:
Answer all incoming calls promptly within three rings.
Respond to voicemail and email messages in a timely manner.
Make, modify, and cancel transient and group reservations as needed.
Process guest lodging deposits according to policy.
Manage waitlists and contact guests to fill cancellations.
Issue gift cards purchased via phone or online.
Log maintenance and housekeeping issues into the system.
Record guest requests in reservation notes.
Charge third-party reservations fully on arrival day.
Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods.
Availability to work weekends.
High School Diploma or GED; prior experience with lodging reservation systems preferred.
Experience with ResortSuite PMS and Synxis CRS preferred.
Strong computer skills.
Ability to operate a multi-line phone system.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
