About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer II to join our cloud infrastructure team. In this role, you will take ownership of complex platform initiatives, focusing on enhancing the reliability, security, and efficiency of our AWS cloud environment. You will work independently on critical projects, influence architectural decisions, and lead efforts to automate and optimize our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Qualifications
Advanced proficiency with AWS services, IAM, networking, and security controls
Extensive experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code
Strong background in building and managing CI/CD systems at team scale
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container delivery workflows
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages used for automation (e.g., Python, Bash, etc.)
AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification or higher (preferred)
Terraform Associate certification (preferred)
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to lead complex initiatives and influence cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
Lead advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex production and pre-production issues
Design and influence infrastructure and platform architecture discussions
Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices with minimal oversight
Drive proactive reliability initiatives, including incident prevention and resilience enhancements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into secure and scalable architecture decisions
Develop and refine operational standards, runbooks, and engineering guardrails
Provide technical mentorship and informal leadership to associate and mid-level engineers
Participate in on-call rotations and lead response efforts for high-impact incidents
Stay updated on industry trends and internal engineering standards to ensure best practices
